HOW CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?
You can make a reservation, over the phone at 24706928 to reach our Petworld Resort Reservations Department, or by emailing petworldresort@gmail.com
Or stop by Petworld Resort in person from 10am to 5pm , seven days a week.
Kennel visiting time: Saturday, Sunday and Pulic Holiday, 2pm to 4pm
WHICH VACCINES ARE REQUIRED FOR MY DOG IN ORDER TO STAY AT PETWORLD RESORT?
Petworld Resort requires three vaccinations for our canine guests: Rabies, DHPPIL and Bordetella (Kennel cough). We also require official dog license which is issued by AFCD, HK Government. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given or has expired, it needs to be administered at least 7-14days prior to arrival at Petworld Resort. WHY DOES PETWORLD RESORT REQUIRE THE BORDETELLA VACCINATION TO BE ADMINISTERED 7DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO CHECK-IN IF IT HAS EXPIRED OR HAS NEVER BEEN ADMINUSTERED?
Our 7 day policy ensures that guests with little or no immunity have not been exposed accidentally and infected with an illness while visiting their veterinarian to get vaccinated. While seemingly stringent, this innovative approach to disease management has helped greatly reduce the occurrence of kennel cough at Petworld Resort.
CAN I TAKE A TOUR?
We encourage you to take a tour at Petworld Resort from 2pm to 4pm, on Saturday, Sunday and Public holiday. No appointment is necessary. We require you to bring all the vaccination record and dog license of you dog when you come to visit our kennel.
WHAT DO I BRING WITH MY DOG ON DAY OF ARRIVAL?
You may bring toys or treats they may enjoy. If your dog requires any medication, please provide at check in with the original container, if possible. If you plan to bring your dog’s food from home, please note we will store it in our own container while your dog is in our care.
We function as full-service pet hotels and therefore, do provide the comforts of home with our pet bedding – variable by room type.

WHAT IS INCLUED IN THE DAILY RATE FOR MY DOG?
For our guests, each room includes: comfortable bedding, and blankets by request. Dogs will enjoy twice daily, extended playgroups with guests of like size and temperament. Guests staying in our deluxe room instead may enjoy the grass field play-time. Petworld Resort provides Hill’s brand food; or, alternatively, you may bring your pet’s personal food from home. For the special meal, like chicken meal, rice needs extra charge.
WHAT IF MY DOG DOESN’T PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS?
Your dog will have 2-4 times, one-on-one walks throughout the day with Petworld Resort’s pet sitter to ensure the safety of all pet boarding guests while still providing quality care for your pet.
I HAVE NEVER BOARDED MY PET BEFORE. SHOULD I WORRY?
Relax. Pet parents can feel confident and worry-free about their decision to place their pet in the care of Petworld Resort, pet parents ourselves, we know boarding your pet is typically much more stressful for the parent than the pet. That’s why we’ve created Petworld Resort – a revolutionary concept in overnight care. We’ve gone to every extent to ensure you have peace of mind that your pet will be safe, loved and have a great time while in our care.
To help your pet (and you) adjust to being away from home, we suggest first bringing her in dog club. This experience allows you both to get to know Petworld Resort.
Want to know how your pet behaved while at Petworld Resort? Each pet’s daily activities are continuously monitored on activity heats by Pet Care Specialists – providing you daily photos by email when pet’s stay.
CAN I PICK UP OR DROP OFF MY PETS ON A HOLIDAY?
Yes, with the exception of Chinese Lunar Year when our lobby is closed.
HOW OFTEN ARE ROOMS, SUITES CLEAED?
We don’t believe our pet guests can be safe and comfortable in a dirty room. So each room, suite is cleaned at least once a day. All rooms, suites are inspected throughout the day and cleaned whenever they are soiled.
WHERE DO YOU TAKE THE DOGS DURING WALKS?
For the safety and comfort of our pet guests, all activities take place inside the Petworld Resort. We have a defined walking path inside the hotel where dogs are walked at least twice a day. We have a big grass field where they can be let off the leash in an area that resembles an outdoor park for our boarding guest.
MY FEMALE DOG IS IN HEAT. WILL YOU STILL ACCEPT HER AT PETWORLD RESORT?
Yes, female dog that is in heat will have individual one on one walk with our pet sitter daily.
DO YOU ACCEPT INTACT MALES AT PETWORLD RESORT?
Yes. All unaltered males over six months of age will be placed in Petworld Resort Hotel’s Specialized Care Program for the safety of other pet boarding guests and to lower arousal levels in playgroups. Petworld Resort Hotel’s Specialized Care guests enjoy three, one on one walks per day.
WILL YOU ADMINISTER MEDICATION TO MY PET AT PETWORLD RESORT?
Yes. Petworld Resort can give medication at extra charge. Petworld Resort does not administer injections while your pet is in our care.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATON AT PETWORLD RESORT?
Petworld Resort is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our opening time is from 10am -6pm, Monday to Sunday. Kennel visiting hour is from 1pm – 4pm, Monday to Sunday. Check in time: 10am – 5pm, check out time: 10am – 6pm.
CAN I VISIT MY PET DURING HIS/HER STAY?
At Petworld Resort, our guests are also on vacation. Visitation during boarding is both confusing and interruptive for the dog, and therefore, is highly discouraged. But pet parents may still visit their pets. The visiting hour is from 1pm – 4pm, by appointment.
DO YOU OFFER GROOMING EVEN IF MY DOG IS NOT CURRENTLY STAYING IN YOUR HOTEL?
Yes. We offer any grooming service to fit your pet’s needs. An appointment is required. Please contact our reservations department for breed specific rates and availability.
WHAT IF MY DOG NEEDS TO SEE THE DOCTOR?
Petworld Resort staffs are always on their toes looking out for changes in behavior. If need be, the owner is contacted immediately and the dog is taken to our veterinarian on call.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A RESERVATION?
You could call or email to inform us if you need to cancel the reservation. However, deposit could only be refund as other expenditure at the low season. Deposit could not be refund at the peak season.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?
In the event that we need to discuss something with you, we will call you immediately unless instructed otherwise by you, the owner. We have a very upfront and honest approach in how we handle situations and are committed in making sure you and you your pet enjoy a memorable experience with us. In the event that medical assistance is needed, we have a vet who could come to take a look of your dog. We can also transport your dog to your preferred vet should the situation allow us to do sol please let us know if you have a preferred vet upon check-in.
MY DOG IS FROM A SHELTER. WILL HE THINK I’M ABANDONING HIM AGAIN?
Our environment is very different from most shelters. At Petworld Resort, dogs stay in a home-like environment and receive lots of individual attention and playtime outside with other dogs. A good percentage of our dogs are rescued or come from shelters, many from the Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR). These dogs adapt very quickly and love coming to Petworld Resort to see their friends.
I FEED MY DOG A RAW DIET, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE THAT?
Absolutely! Raw diets can be great for dogs and Petworld Resort wants to ensure that your dog feels right at home. That means familiar food too! Petworld Resort has refrigerator and freezer for any food that require cold temperatures. Just bring what they need and instructions on how you prepare the meal and we will do the same.
HOW IS PETWORLD RESORT DIFFERENT FROM THE BOARDING KENNEL I USE NOW FOR MY PET?
As dog owners ourselves, we know that choosing the right pet care provider or facility for your dog is an important decision.
You will have a peace of mind knowing that your dog is enjoying an impeccably clean, caring and secure home-away-from-home at Petworld Resort. We continuously invest in proper training, equipment and protocols to keep our facility super clean and your dog safe. This includes secure fencing, fire detection, high volume ventilation, peer reviews, and audits, basic first aid training, and strict vaccination requirements.
Our core philosophy focuses on lots of exercise and playtime; and you get to choose the type of room / activity and the right amount that’s best for your dog.. from gentle stretch breaks and belly rubs to high level activity packages. It’s just not one-size-fits-all! As we know dogs that enjoy daily playtime and physical activity are more adjusted, less stressed, healthier and happier.
