House Rule
House Rule of Petworld Resort Ltd. Hotel Service
Applicability
1. This house rules shall be applicable to all our customers and their pet(s).
Pets Age
2. We will only accept pet(s) having attained at least 5 months of age. Furthermore, for the pet(s) having attained 10 years of age, we will only accept those have been examined and approved by a veterinarian certifying that they can attend our service(s) (documentary proof will be required).
Vaccination / Health
3. We will only accept pet(s) having vaccinations and / or immunity against Rabies (at least every three years), DHPPIL (at least every year) and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)(at least every year). (Documentary proof will be required).
4. We will only accept pet(s) having been isolated for at least 10 days after taking vaccinations.
5. We will only accept pet(s) having been on a regular internal and external parasite treatment (at least every month)(Documentary proof will be required).
6. We will only accept pet(s) with microchip and customer(s) with dog license.
7. We will not accept pet(s) with the following symptoms / illnesses:-
- Whatever kind of terminal illnesses
- Requiring whatever kind of medical treatments (save and except that 1) simple treatments including pill feeding, eye drop, ear drop, face wiping, hair winkling; and 2) veterinarians will also be instructed, which the costs to be incurred shall be settled by pet owners). In this regard we would have absolute discretion and final decision.
- Incapable of walking, urination
- Whatever kind of communicable illnesses
Service Hours
8. Our Office hours are from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (For Saturday and Sunday our office hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) (Our office will close during the first three days of the Chinese New Year.)
9. Our service(s), i.e. swimming pool service, grooming service, party service, are available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (the latest entry time is 4:00 p.m.) whereas our pick up and drop off service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 noon (pick up) and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (drop off) (subject to traffic conditions).
10. The available check-in time for our hotel accommodation service is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., whereas the available check-out time for the same is from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Check-in and check-out are not available during the first three days of the Chinese New Year.)
11. The hotel for pets is available for visits from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. At least 1 day prior reservation is required. Pet visitors are strictly prohibited.
Weather Arrangement
12. All of our services (except hotel accommodation service (check-in and check-out), grooming service, pick-up and drop-off service) will be suspended in the event that typhoon signal no. 1 or above, amber rainstorm warning or above, thunderstorm warning, special announcement on flooding in the Northern New Territories (collectively the “Weather warning”) is issued or will be issued in 2 hours.
13. In the event that Weather warning is issued during any of our services (except hotel accommodation service, grooming service, pick-up and drop-up service) are in use, the services will be cancelled immediately without compensation, whereas customers and their pets will be required to leave our premises in a safe manner. In this regard, we have absolute discretion and final decision.
14. All our services will be resumed in 1 hour in the event that Weather warning is cancelled.
15. Our hotel services (check-in and check-out), grooming service, pick-up and drop-off service will be suspended in the event that typhoon signal no. 8 or above, red rainstorm warning or above is issued or will be issued in 2 hours, whereas the same will be resumed in 1 hour in the event that the said weather warnings are cancelled.
16. In the event that your pets are in use of our hotel accommodation service whereas due to typhoon signal no. 8 or above, red rainstorm warning or above, your pets shall attend our hotel accommodation service for longer period than scheduled, customers are required to pay extra charges in accordance with the price schedule as provided in our information booklet.
Reservations
17. Save and except with reservation, all of our services are on first come first serve basis.
18. Reservation of our service(s) cannot be cancelled during peak season periods (peak season periods are more particularly described in our information booklet), which means that customers would be required to pay the whole service charges once reservation of our service(s) is made for peak season periods, no matter the service(s) are attended or not.
19. Without prejudice to other clauses of this house rules, a completed booking form and a signed services agreement must be submitted to us when reservation is made. No reservation of our service(s) can be confirmed before the said two documents are acknowledged received by us.
Service Charges
20. We charge our service(s) in accordance with the price schedule as provided in our information booklet. All of our charges must be settled before the usage of our service(s).
21. 50% of service(s) charged would be required as deposit when reservation is made. Without prejudice to other clauses of this house rules, upon confirmation of payment of deposit reservation will then be confirmed.
Restrictions to service(s)
22. Intact male pets will not be allowed to participate in playgroup service (i.e. social time which is part of our hotel accommodation service).
23. Non-spayed female pets will not be allowed to participate in playgroup service (i.e. social time which is part of our hotel accommodation service) when they are in heat.
24. Pets will not be allowed to participate in fitness camp (one of our hotel accommodation package), playgroup service (i.e. social time which is part of our hotel accommodation service) or swimming pool service unless they possess required physical ability including but not limited to running, jumping, rolling over, swimming.
Membership
25. Generally speaking memberships will be valid for 12 months and the same will be terminated immediately without notice upon expired.
26. Memberships are not transferable.
27. We have absolute discretion in terminating any memberships, in which event all the memberships subscription fees are not refundable.
Rules on usage of our facilities
28. Our swimming pools / grasslands / playground are designated for pets only. Customers are strictly prohibited from having whatever kind of usage of the swimming pools / grasslands / playground.
29. Customers are required to keep the cleanness of our facilities, failing which customers will be required to pay extra charges in accordance with the extent of the dirt caused.
30. Our car parking spaces are on first come first served basis.
31. Children (under the age of 12) are not allowed to be brought to our premises.
Miscellaneous
32. We have absolute discretion in rejecting any customers or pets to attend our service(s). We also have absolute discretion, without any refund compensation, in expelling any customers and / or pets from our premises even him / her / it is in use of any of our service(s) if he / she / it has / have breached any clauses of this house rules and / or causing disturbances to others. In this regard, we shall have final decision.
